Now in its 10th year, the Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival has become a household favourite within Dunedin and beyond and holds the status of being an industry leader in the Craft Beer and Food event environment within New Zealand.
The Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival (DCBFF) started in October 2013 down at Forsyth Barr Stadium, with the inaugural event hosting around 2500 people. Brought to you by OUSA, the event was conceptualized to satisfy market demand for local craft brewing and food within Dunedin and Otago. The day was a success, and so the brand was born.
With an ongoing message of alcohol responsibility and a focus on great food, craft beverage offerings, and world-class entertainment, the Dunedin festival has grown over the years from one to two days, from local to national participants and attendees.
Opening the gates to 12 000 people over the course of the weekend, and showcasing over 80 vendors, the festival has become "one of Dunedin's most iconic events".
